Company History
Paul Barnes has been a piano enthusiast for his entire life. After working for many years as an engineer, he decided to pursue a career working with pianos. Paul studied at Leeds College Of Music to achieve the necessary qualifications, including “BTEC National Diploma in Piano Tuning, Maintenance & Repair” and “City & Guilds Musical Instrument Technology specialising in Piano”.
Training
After 3 years of training, in July 1994 Paul was fully qualified and began to gain valuable experience tuning his own pianos as well as those of families and friends. In 1995 B.P Piano Tuning& Repairs was officially founded and the client list began to grow immediately, along with many family pianos in peoples homes Paul also tunes pianos for music teachers, schools, churches, councils, 180 year old country halls and even for international superstars!
